Ferm Living Ryu Mug

Discover the Ryu Mug Tall from Ferm Living, a beautifully crafted piece from the Ryu tableware collection. The name Ryu derives from the Japanese word for "flow," a fitting tribute to the intricate, swirling patterns that grace the surface of each piece. These organic designs are more than decorative details — they are the signature of a time-honoured technique that transforms simple clay into wearable art.

Each mug is created using the traditional Nerikomi technique, a meticulous process in which two differently coloured clays are kneaded, rolled, and cut entirely by hand. This hands-on approach means that no two mugs are ever quite alike, resulting in a one-of-a-kind pattern that gives each piece its own distinct character. The result is tableware that feels both refined and deeply personal, bringing a sense of craftsmanship to everyday moments.

Designed to enhance the ritual of your morning coffee or afternoon tea, the Ryu Mug Tall combines thoughtful form with artisanal detail. Its tall silhouette makes it a natural companion for warm beverages, while the interplay of colours in the clay adds a quiet, artful presence to any kitchen or table setting.

With its blend of tradition, technique, and understated beauty, the Ryu Mug Tall is a graceful addition to the Ferm Living universe — a piece that turns a simple daily habit into a moment worth savouring.
