Ferm Living Phase Mobile

Ferm Living Phase Mobile is part of the Ferm Living x Utzon – Can Lis collaboration, a collection inspired by architect Jørn Utzon's family home in Mallorca. The partnership merges the natural surroundings of Can Lis with design elements that reflect Utzon's distinctive architectural philosophy, translating his vision into objects for everyday living.

Crafted in Denmark from high-quality paper, the Phase Mobile draws direct inspiration from the iconic moon graphics found at Can Lis. Its composition unfolds in a considered progression, moving from slim triangles to wider triangular forms, culminating in a square shape and finally crowned by a golden 'moon.' This sequence creates a poetic interplay between geometry and motion, echoing the architectural rhythm of Utzon's original work.

Suspended delicately on strings and wire, the mobile's elements respond softly to the surrounding air, shifting and turning to form ever-changing compositions. The result is a piece that feels both meditative and dynamic, bringing a quiet sense of movement into any room it inhabits.

With its thoughtful construction and sculptural silhouette, the Phase Mobile serves as a subtle yet striking addition to a considered interior. It pairs naturally with the rest of the Ferm Living x Utzon – Can Lis collection, offering a refined nod to Scandinavian design sensibility and architectural storytelling in equal measure.
