Ferm Living Mar Woven Baskets

Ferm Living's Mar Woven Baskets draw their inspiration from the timeless utility baskets found along the Mediterranean coast, reimagined for the modern home. Meticulously handcrafted from natural, undyed seagrass, each basket showcases an intricate coiled construction that speaks to genuine artisanal skill. Contrasting braided accents add a refined visual detail, elevating a humble material into a striking design object that feels equally at home in a living room, entryway, or bedroom.

Sold as a set of two, the Mar Woven Baskets offer versatile sizing to suit a range of storage needs, from tidying away blankets and cushions to organising smaller everyday items. Their dual scale makes them easy to layer or display together, bringing both practicality and a sculptural, natural presence to any interior.

Crafted entirely from natural seagrass, the baskets embrace a raw, undyed palette that highlights the beauty of the material itself. As a result of the handmade process, slight irregularities in the fibres and weave are to be expected — far from imperfections, these nuances are what make each basket genuinely unique, ensuring no two pieces are ever quite alike.

With their coiled weave and braided detailing, the Mar Woven Baskets embody a quiet, enduring elegance rooted in traditional craft techniques. A considered addition to any thoughtfully curated space, they bring together everyday function and timeless, artisanal beauty in equal measure.
