Design House Stockholm Blond Mug

The Blond Mug from Design House Stockholm brings quiet tactility to everyday rituals. Designed by the Relief Group, it features a raised pattern that plays with both texture and visual rhythm, transforming a classic mug shape into a subtly sculptural object for the table. Choose between the Stripe and Dot designs, each offering its own graphic character while sharing the same considered craftsmanship.

Part of the wider Blond dinner set, this mug is crafted from new bone china, a fine ceramic material known for its durability, delicate translucency, and smooth finish. It holds a generous 30 cl, making it well-suited for coffee, tea, or any warm beverage that deserves a moment of pause.

The mug measures 10.6 cm in height with a diameter of 8 cm, and weighs just 0.15 kg, striking a comfortable balance between everyday practicality and refined design. It is both microwave and dishwasher safe, making it as functional as it is beautiful.

Blond was created under the direction of Signe Persson-Melin, Sweden's first professor of ceramics, and produced by the Relief Group she founded. Since its introduction in 1995, the collection has remained a benchmark of Scandinavian tableware design, admired for its tactile surface and understated elegance.

Made in Thailand, the Blond Mug pairs effortlessly with other pieces from the collection, including cups, saucers, plates, and bowls, allowing you to build a considered, textural table setting piece by piece.
