DCWéditions Knokke Portable Table Lamp

The Knokke lamp captures the enchantment and tenderness of candlelight, bringing its magic into everyday life without the hassle and maintenance of real candles. Recognizing the difficulty of organizing candlelight in daily routines, this lamp is designed to evoke the same sense of warmth and intimacy that only a candle can provide.

This vision led to the collaboration with Eric de Dormael, a designer known for his ability to merge functionality with artistic beauty. The result is the Knokke lamp, a cordless, battery-powered light source that encourages moments of togetherness and warmth. It’s more than just a lamp; it’s a facilitator of convivial moments, intimate exchanges, and the unique magic that comes with being together.

The dimensions of the Knokke lamp are carefully considered to be both practical and aesthetically pleasing. It measures 8 cm in length, 8 cm in width, and stands 35 cm tall. This size makes it perfect for placing on a dinner table, a bedside table, or even for carrying from room to room, illuminating spaces with its soft, inviting glow.

In terms of materials, the Knokke lamp combines steel with natural brushed brass, creating a look that is both modern and timeless. The steel provides durability and a sleek finish, while the brushed brass adds a touch of elegance and warmth, reminiscent of the golden hue of candlelight. This combination not only enhances the visual appeal of the lamp but also ensures its longevity and resilience.

The Knokke lamp is an embodiment of innovation and elegance. It brings the charm of candlelight into the modern home, offering a hassle-free, safe, and stylish alternative to traditional candles.
