AYTM Mola Rug

The AYTM Mola Rug in Dusty Blue is a striking piece that transforms any interior space through its thoughtfully layered design. Measuring L288 x W209 cm, this large-format rug makes a bold statement in living rooms, bedrooms, or open-plan areas.

Inspired by natural stone formations, the name "Mola" derives from the Latin word for stone. The rug's design presents a visual narrative of life's milestones, with varying levels, materials, and textures that symbolize the significant moments we experience and grow from. Each "stone" within the composition reflects the diversity found in nature, creating a harmonious balance between form and function.

Crafted with premium materials, the front side combines 65% viscose and 35% New Zealand wool, delivering both softness and durability. The backing is 100% cotton, ensuring stability and longevity. This composition creates a rug that is not only visually captivating but also built to withstand everyday use.

The Dusty Blue colorway offers a sophisticated, muted tone that complements contemporary and traditional interiors alike. As a handmade piece, minor size variations of +/-3% are natural and accepted. For optimal care, regular vacuuming is recommended, especially when new, and professional cleaning is advised for stubborn stains. An under-rug is recommended on vinyl, oiled, or untreated floors to prevent potential staining from the backing.

The Mola Rug represents AYTM's commitment to meaningful design that celebrates life's journey through thoughtful craftsmanship and natural materials.
