Audo Copenhagen Tile Rug

Tile Rug 200 x 300 cm / Ivory by Audo Copenhagen, designed by Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen, draws inspiration from the tactile warmth of sun-baked brick and the architectural elegance of tiled courtyards. This handwoven rug features a structured, tile-like grid pattern that creates visual rhythm while inviting touch through its carefully crafted textured surface.

Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the rug combines loop and cut pile construction using premium New Zealand wool and jute fibers. The composition is 75% wool and 25% jute, with a jute warp and hand-sewn backing that ensures both durability and tactile depth. This blend of natural materials creates a rug that feels as refined as it looks, with the backing providing essential structural integrity.

The Ivory colorway offers a sophisticated, light aesthetic that complements contemporary and traditional interiors alike. Available in two sizes—170 x 240 cm and 200 x 300 cm—this larger format provides an ideal anchoring element for spacious living or dining areas. The design recalls layered warmth and memory, evoking the sense of calm found in measured repetition and the gentle play of evening light on stone.

As with all natural fiber rugs, some shedding is to be expected initially and will diminish with regular use and proper care. The Tile Rug represents a thoughtful investment in quality craftsmanship, combining Scandinavian design heritage with functional beauty for any discerning interior.
