Audo Copenhagen Passage Stool

The Passage Stool in Dark Stained Oak represents a masterclass in contemporary Scandinavian craftsmanship. Designed by the Copenhagen-based studio Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen, this versatile piece combines functional design with refined aesthetics, drawing inspiration from traditional Danish cabinetmaking traditions.

Crafted from solid oak with a protective lacquered finish, the stool features a warm, organic silhouette that invites touch. The dark staining enhances the wood grain while allowing the inherent beauty of oak to shine through, creating a sophisticated appearance that complements modern and classic interiors alike. The glossy lacquered surface not only adds visual depth but also provides practical protection against moisture and dust, ensuring lasting durability.

Beyond its role as a seating solution, the Passage Stool serves multiple purposes throughout your home. Use it as an extra seat at the dining table, a side table in the bedroom, or a practical landing place for clothing in the bathroom. The compact proportions—measuring 45.5 cm in height with a 42.5 cm width and depth—make it ideal for smaller spaces without compromising on comfort.

Designed as a flat-pack for quick self-assembly, the stool connects users to the design process while remaining easy to put together. Multiple units stack neatly when not in use, offering convenient storage solutions. Every detail reflects the studio's honest approach to design, with visible joints and assembly elements celebrated as design assets rather than hidden away, staying true to industrial craftsmanship principles.
