Astro Kos Round 140 Coastal Downlight

The Astro Kos Round 140 Coastal Downlight in White Concrete brings a refined, sculptural presence to any surface-mounted lighting scheme. Designed as an elegant alternative to a recessed downlight, its perfectly balanced proportions allow it to stand as a distinctive design feature in its own right, rather than disappearing into the ceiling. The matte concrete finish lends a tactile, contemporary character that pairs beautifully with coastal, industrial, and minimalist interiors alike.

Built to endure, this fixture carries an IP44 rating, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, including bathroom zones 2 and 3. Its durable concrete construction is engineered to withstand harsh weather conditions, and the fixture is backed by Astro's 10 Year Coastal Warranty, confirming its suitability for installation within eight kilometres of the coastline or in other similarly demanding environments.

The Kos Round 140 Coastal is compatible with a GU10 LED lamp, up to 6W maximum, with a maximum lamp length of 60mm. The fixture itself is rated for a 4.1W, 2700K dimmable GU10 LED lamp (dimmable depending on the lamp used, no driver required). It is Class I, requiring earthing, and connects via a wired electrical supply.

Ceiling-mounted and finished in a sophisticated white concrete, this downlight is available in four variations to suit different design requirements. A considered choice for those seeking robust, weather-resistant lighting with genuine architectural presence, the Kos Round 140 Coastal combines Astro's renowned design sensibility with materials built to last.
