101 Copenhagen Snake Floor Lamp

The Snake Floor Lamp in Burned Black by 101 Copenhagen embodies sculptural elegance through its distinctive twisted metal form. Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl, this striking fixture transforms solid aluminium into a gesture of fluid movement, where slender pipes bend and curve with precision to create a sense of motion even when still.

Finished in a sophisticated burned black chrome plating, the lamp presents a bold, modern aesthetic that complements contemporary and eclectic interiors alike. The design draws inspiration from the silent grace of a snake in motion, translating that organic fluidity into refined metalwork. Refined conic shades emit a warm, inviting glow that diffuses gently throughout the space, creating an atmosphere that beautifully contrasts with the tactile metal structure.

Standing at 130 cm in height with a compact footprint of 28 cm length and 20 cm width, the Snake Floor Lamp works equally well as a statement piece beside seating, in corners requiring soft illumination, or paired with matching Snake Wall Lamps to establish rhythm and visual movement. The lamp accommodates a single G9 light bulb and operates at 230V with a 2-meter cable length.

Crafted from 100% aluminium with chrome plating, this piece balances hardness and warmth, structure and fluidity. Ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, and reading corners, the Snake Floor Lamp brings dynamic sculptural presence to any interior, expressing quiet sophistication and timeless modern design.
