101 Copenhagen Ni Vase

The Ni Vase in Medio by 101 Copenhagen represents a masterpiece of sculptural design, named after the Japanese word for movement. This ceramic vase captures the essence of motion through its dynamic, organic silhouette that evokes a sense of speed and fluidity. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, each piece embodies the collaborative vision of designers Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl, who seamlessly blend Danish minimalism with Japanese aesthetics.

Characterized by two sculptural legs that meet at a central point, the Ni Vase creates a subtle sense of balance and tension that commands attention in any interior space. The design features a small opening at the top, perfectly suited for a single branch, delicate stems, or a minimalist arrangement. Yet the vase is equally striking as a standalone art piece, serving as a functional sculpture that transforms your décor.

Hand-painted in the serene Birch finish—a bright, pale natural beige with whispers of warmth—this ceramic vase reflects the gentle tone of fresh wood. The hand-painted surface creates subtle variations in tone and texture, ensuring each piece is uniquely alive. Measuring 16 cm in height, length, and 13.5 cm in width, the Medio size strikes the perfect balance between presence and proportion.

Constructed from 100% ceramic and sealed for water-holding capability, this piece combines resilience with refined artistry. Style it alone or group multiple sizes for a sculptural statement. The Ni Vase brings quiet elegance and artistic energy to living spaces, dining areas, and contemporary interiors.
