101 Copenhagen Native Tray

The Native Tray, Fat – Birch is a masterpiece of sophisticated design, handcrafted from premium stoneware by the acclaimed design duo Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl. This exquisite tray seamlessly blends Danish minimalism with Japanese aesthetics, creating a piece that transcends time while remaining utterly practical for modern living.

Finished in the distinctive Birch colour—a bright, pale natural beige with subtle warmth—each tray is hand-painted with unique variations in brush strokes and texture. The characteristic burned spots and glaze variations ensure no two pieces are identical, celebrating the beauty of handcrafted individuality. The matte glaze finish is achieved through a meticulous two-stage firing process at temperatures reaching 1,260°C, resulting in exceptional durability and refined character.

Measuring 20 cm in length and width with a 7 cm height, this versatile tray is perfectly proportioned for presenting delicate oysters, artisanal bread, sushi, or cakes at intimate gatherings or exclusive events. Crafted from 100% ceramic stoneware, it is both dishwasher-safe (up to 65°C) and microwave-safe (up to 675W), making it as practical as it is beautiful.

Part of the Native Dinnerware Collection, this tray pairs effortlessly with complementary pieces to create a cohesive table setting. With proper care and mindful handling, your Native Tray will develop a natural patina over time, becoming a cherished companion that carries forward the warmth of its craft and the evolving stories of your table.
