101 Copenhagen Kabin Vase

The Kabin Vase, Lamella in Coffee represents a refined fusion of Japanese and Scandinavian design traditions. Crafted by acclaimed designers Nicolaj Nøddesbo and Tommy Hyldahl, this ceramic vase draws inspiration from the classical, minimalist forms found in traditional Japanese craftsmanship, reimagined through a contemporary Scandinavian lens.

Hand-glazed ceramic construction gives this piece its distinctive character. The Coffee finish is a deep, warm dark brown that evokes the richness of earth and roasted beans, with subtle brush stroke variations ensuring each piece is entirely unique. The oval-shaped body rests elegantly on a small pedestal foot, adding refinement to the sculptural form. Delicate lamellas cover the round surface, creating organic texture and visual interest that draws the eye even without floral arrangements.

This versatile decorative object works beautifully as a centerpiece on dining tables, sideboards, or consoles. Style it with branches or dried arrangements for bold expression, or display it empty as a standalone sculptural element. The vase measures 23.5 cm in height with a 35 cm diameter, making it a substantial presence in any interior scheme.

As a hand-glazed ceramic piece, colors may vary slightly between items. The vase includes an interior waterproof bag for fresh flowers, though the exterior surface requires gentle care. Dust lightly with a soft, dry cloth and keep away from prolonged sunlight and temperature fluctuations to preserve its artistry for years to come.
