101 Copenhagen Hikari Wall Lamp

The 101 Copenhagen Hikari Wall Lamp in Opal White embodies the Japanese concept of light as both visual and emotional presence. Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl, this 45cm diameter fixture transforms any space into a sanctuary of calm radiance.

Crafted from hand-painted opal glass and hand-brushed plated aluminium, the Hikari features a gently flattened shade that diffuses light with remarkable tenderness. Three slender metal sticks elegantly support the glass, while a graceful trumpet form conceals the metal wall cup—a refined detail that speaks to meticulous craftsmanship. The integrated LED light source delivers 25,000 hours of warm, even illumination at 2700K color temperature, seamlessly integrated to preserve the lamp's serene aesthetic.

This luminaire is fully compatible with DALI lighting control systems, allowing seamless integration into existing smart lighting setups. Equally suited for wall or ceiling mounting, the Ø45 size makes a striking statement in living rooms, bedrooms, or larger spaces, whether displayed as a singular focal point or arranged in multiples to create visual rhythm and continuity throughout your home.

Technical Specifications: 593 lumens, 10W maximum power consumption, IP44 rating suitable for bathroom use, Class I electrical insulation. The fixture measures 24cm in height with a 45cm diameter. Hand-brushed plated aluminium construction ensures durability, while the opal glass requires gentle care with soft microfibre cloths and mild soap to maintain its luminous finish.

Hikari represents light distilled to its essence—not merely illumination, but emotion itself.
