101 Copenhagen Brutus Dining Chair

The Brutus Dining Chair in Natural Oak is a sculptural statement piece inspired by the Brutalist architecture movement of the mid-20th century. Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl, this chair embodies the philosophy of bold, geometric forms combined with unexpected comfort and elegance.

Crafted from lightweight fiber concrete, each chair features a unique tactile surface with subtle imperfections and nuances that make it truly one-of-a-kind. The material is hand-painted twice with brush strokes to create a layered, textured finish. The design masterfully balances sharp architectural lines with softer curves in the backrest and armrest, resulting in a piece that is as visually compelling as it is comfortable to sit in.

Measuring L60 x W50 x H69 cm with a seat width of 45 cm and seat depth of 37 cm, the Brutus accommodates users with ease. The backrest height of 24 cm provides excellent support, while the 150 kg weight capacity ensures durability. At just 17 kg, the chair remains mobile despite its substantial presence.

For indoor use only, the Brutus requires minimal care—simply wipe with a soft, dry cloth and avoid household cleaners.
